Fully agree with your comment "I strongly believe he was talking longer term.".

From my AGM notes (Posted on 27/10/23) SM explicitly mentioned (as I heard him at the AMG say) that the Bank &/or pre payment options were options post Flow test (Mukyuyu-2/ST1) and Resource base defined (Certified Resources) - this is very much industry standard, but exceptions on occasions occur. I've included the relevant section from my 27/10/23 AGM Post in Slide 1 below. I also captured this in my IVZ Best Guess Work Programme for the next 3 years in Slide 2 - yellow arrow (Posted 19/12/23).

I was expecting at this funding point some type of Zimbabwean consortium - cornerstone investment position, etc., to be taken up considering the length of time post Mukuyu-1/ST1's initial results & - at least IMO - how extremely good they were + the importance of this discovery to the country etc.
