They are developer/explorers not actual producers. That would mean accountability, they need cash based on quarterly but maybe averse to selling LEL if they believe it will skyrocket in value after jv announcement.

prevent accountability of not producing. They needed to
hedge and export. Being fair it’s better they wouldn’t be
able to handle it anyway. If there is a sale t only asset
left is LEL shares.
