I've taken the liberty of contacting Propel as follows:My familyholds around 20,000 Propel shares.
Placements,in my long held view, are wrong. “Sophisticated” investors get into stocks at adiscount, and more often than not sell quickly to realise a profit. Mums andDads are at a disadvantage.
I wouldurge Propel to go down the path of a pro-rata issue.
It will be interesting to see if there is a response. I do realise that there will be an opportunity for current shareholders to participate, but not pro-rata. A holder of 1 share will have the same entitlement as a holder with 100,000 shares.
