It isn't obviously observable. Prior to this year our past few summers have felt quite cool. I remember getting multiple 42s in a summer when I was in primary school over 30 years ago, more than we had in the past few years.

Current estimates are that we've increased in temperature around 1.50-1.7C since 1900, which I think is determined from ocean temperatures.

I'm not a doomsday climate worrier. Life finds a way.

I expect we'll either find an organism or machine to remove CO2 from the atmosphere. Or we'll live in Kevin Costner's Waterworld.
