That's a very different kind of test I think.

e.g. Injectivity Testing - this measures permeability and fracture pressure by pumping water into the reservoir.
Closed Chamber Testing - the well is opened to flow into a sealed volume of drill pipe - but closed at surface.

Neither is a well test, and neither provides enough duration or data to reasonably assess the reservoir for production.
(duration of minutes - well testing is performed over hours, days, or weeks)

To the best of my knowledge you cannot establish a REAL flow rate without actually flowing the well - and the quantity of produced gas and fluids has to go somewhere.
