no. Heat wave is caused by seasonal weather. It's summer here in WA, and summer in most places in Australia tend to have temperatures going to over 40 degC, always have been in my long lifetime. Nothing's changed in that respect. There are no more hot days than before, since settlement, nor are the hot days any hotter than before.
