Nobody should be surprised because these guys do it every time, as old posts & threads here will attest. Once AW1 management indicates their cash position is fine in response to a CR question then it’s a sure signal they very shortly will raise, so position your holdings accordingly. Then it’s further confirmation when posters here begin pom-pom waving for mgmt and saying the Top 20 is accumulating, which you know is most likely a pre-raise rinse or an anti-dilutive exercise for them. Brokers have long figured this out as well.

If you are ever in need of some amusement you can always count on the AW1 threads to celebrate the rug pull, to cheer the cap raise which they are just dying to take advantage of and have been building the powder stockpiles for, and to brush off what management has previously disingenuously indicated. Dilution can’t come quick enough for some, and the lower the share price forever the better!
