A strategic placement when you don't need extra funds would have to be at a premium. I suspect it will be to a larger fund manager or pharmaceutical company that can see the potential.

If they tried to buy on market, they might be able to get a million shares, but the cat would be out of the bag and the share price would run to something that they would consider unreasonable. Better to do a deal with the company and get their 5% or so at a sensible price.

So it will probably be to one buyer and not necessarily help liquidity, but will certainly put us on the radar of serious investors.
