Hi ML,

Dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinsons are all terrible debilitating diseases. I watched the gradual deterioration of my mother in laws health due to dementia. Hardest thing in the world to be sitting with a loved one who no longer recognises who you are. It took my poor wife an eternity to try and come to terms with the fact that her mother was no longer with us mentally. She would talk to her for hours only for her mother to constantly ask her who she was. It's definitely a very very sad situation. Unfortunately, my mother in law lived for about 10 years with dementia before passing away.
Im hoping we can conquer the first mountain successfully, which is MSA & then move on to other targeted diseases like Parkinsons etc In a perfect world, we may be able to expand our research into the areas of Alzheimers & Dementia. Personally, I would be ecstatic if we could conquer MSA! Everything else to follow would come as a bonus!
