Well, well, this is interesting.
Obviously there will be a follow up announcement to explain this 'surprise'.

My best guess ...
This will not be a placement for the 'average Joe' investor.
I am hoping it has something to do with the over subscription of the very recent CR.
If this is the case ... I am hoping that the company has been 'approached' by a very interested group of heavies,
perhaps the backers of the original CR, that of course did not get the holding that they had hoped to get, because
the CR was over subscribed. This would mean some dilution, yes ... BUT it would mean that there is great interest from
the BIG players around the potential of the science and a future jump in the SP.

My second best guess, and it is a distant second, is that they are looking at acquiring some type of asset. What that could be
is anyone's guess.

Now I'm putting away the crystal ball to wait for the follow up announcement.

I believe, as do many others here, that 2024 is the make-or-break year for ATH. If this is indeed the case, then the
company must take every opportunity, whatever that entails, to expedite a deal with BP.
