Also if it is the case, I wouldn't be disappointed.
Firstly it would show a clear path to being fully funded, as I've posted before it would not surprise me if IDC want to see that we are funded to completion before putting up the loan. If we announced tomorrow we'd secured for example loans for the entire US$26m, I think our SP wold be closer to 15c than 10c. Being fully funded is what has been holding us back.
Secondly more debt funding may over stretch us, many a company has come undone by the impost of debt, especially now that interest rates are higher. US$14m (A$21m) is ok, another US$12m (A$18m) IMO stretches things. We have a MC of $72m and would have debt of $41m
The other method of finance they've mentioned is 3rd party investment at asset level, IMO although this doesn't dilute the SOI, it still dilutes our holding of the assets, so not much different to a placement for the funds.
Although prepayment has been mentioned on this forum, the company to my knowledge has not mentioned it.
