I hope we all make out well from this. I wasn't going to participate unless something meaningful and concrete was announced. As circumstances would turn out we have an ambiguous situation with an unspecified 'material' announcement. So I have gambled a small bit and taken up part of my entitlement.
I was previously quite happy with my .10 average and it held me in good stead for some years but now that were down to .02 it's not great at all. Anyway, although Ron has lost considerable credibility from his impeccable performance at EMV, he still has some credibility left and a reputation to regain and perhaps enhance by pulling HMD back from the brink. Good that he is backing the raise too.
