My guess is that the contract will be quite big.
It is unusual for a trading halt at all on contract announcements as typically they are released before the market opens.
Maybe they were worried about leaks, or the contract is complex and it is taking time to sort it out and get the announcement out there. Maybe both.
I suspect there will be a pretty big bounce on reopening as the stock has been really beaten down and is starting from a very low base. I guess tomorrow will tell...
