If the loan is extended at a higher interest rate, then it is in Au Xingao's best interest to continue to capitalise the interest?
As at 31/12/23. AEV had $4.117m cash. Overheads are typically $650k/Q. This excludes any exploration & evaluation expenses. Capitalised interest up to 3/24 is about $600k.
Keeping in mind AEV also needs cash for:
1. Yellow phosphate study
2. LFP studies
3. DSO CapEx etc, if this is till on the radar
4. Forthcoming payment to Alees
Is paying out interest in AEV's best interest now?
