Management is paying just $2m to hit 100%. That is a friggen steal for shareholders. That will dramatically improve the company's ability to do deals, finance, promote, off-takes, and attract a different group of shareholders moving forward. It also means that AMD becomes a corporate target. If you are a predator, owning 100% of this massive project at these sorts of valuations might look very exciting. The buyer's list will be long imo. Chinese companies, steel mills, RIO, BHP, FMG, Gina, Vale, etc etc.
They have 30km of enriched iron ore at the surface and they only need a tiny fraction of that to come in and this puppy will go. There is real potential for hundreds of millions of tons on this ground.
This money would also allow them to add even more rigs to hit all the targets this year. It will only take one. dyor
