QMEI is not funding the Off-take, that is a seperate entity known as QMR.

From what I understand is that QMEI are looking to do a placement in the US on NASDAQ.

It appears that in December 23 they began doing presentations to their consultants a chance participate in a private placement prior to a future NASDAQ listing. The issue at hand is the way it was presented, probably done prior to a prospectus being issued. I guess the MSC had no choice but to act.

My bet is that QMEI will now finalise a formal prospectus, have it authorised by the MSC and that will be end of that.

BEZ's fundamental have not changed, it still has gold in the ground, and cash in the bank to finalise an updated Feasibility report.

I think what is scaring people is whether QMR are liquid and solvent to continue funding the Bau project.
