Remember that the JC wants security of long-term supply.
They are doing this JV not only for themselves, but for their country’s future. The culture and honour is strong in them.
Also, the JC’s current market cap is already way beyond what ARL can achieve. I really doubt that they want more than 10% blocking stake in the NewCo.
Maybe they do have the scoundrel in them to squeeze more out of ARL. But somehow I can’t see that being played out.
