I can only imagine what any remaining prospective finance partners would be thinking about the risk of handing significant debt to a management team who couldn’t even prudently manage their own limited cash reserves.
One wonders how long it took Glencore to decide they were going to sit it out, as they watched JP and his ex-SQM team blow millions in cash each week on diggers and pond lining, confidently assuming the phone was about to ring.
Would you lend money to them?
