Most big Chinese li chemical producers are suffering losses and negative cash flow due to downward li price. Chinese government imposed restriction on production capacity expansion last week. Milei, president of Argentina, had many hard words on China and very much pro-USA. Frankly speaking, it is not easy to nail down deals with Chinese now. Even though it is likley, it is unlikely happen shortly. ALB failed in several acquisition and off take deals and has production capacity in Chile. It could be an ideal partner. IMO.
