Thanks to both the last posters for further clarification. I've held ALK and KAU for many years, and hadn't thought that there was any connection between KAU and ALK's Boda-Kaiser deposit.

I'm still unsure what happened with the KAU-Checkmate deal, but it does appear that KAU still hold the Stuart Town tenements, not just a 10% interest.

WeronaEK, you have obviously noticed the relatively poor performance of ALK's SP, despite the fact that they have a massive cu/au deposit in addition to their producing mine. That is something which has been a puzzle to many people, but the day will surely come when that will reverse.

As for KAU, we await the news about where the company is heading. Although this is a bottom drawer stock for me which I look at from time to time, it's one that I believe will sooner or later find the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. I feel sure that there is a bonanza deposit, possibly at A1 but more probably around Maldon, just waiting for them to drill in the right place.
