"Top line results" refers to a summary that typically includes only the key efficacy results (generally limited to the primary and main outcomes) and safety data (limited to significant adverse events). They do not include detailed analyses and generally won't have secondary endpoints either.
The reason is that, the person analysing the data can know fairly soon into starting an analysis what the main results are, and once the secret is out, it must be revealed before it leaks (in this case - the company can't resume trading until announcement has been made to the market).
