This is the bit that makes me a bit worried as a potential investor.

The company has perhaps one of the most well connected team in the Ophtha world and yes there is little to no insto placement.

Neither any investment came from a partnership. I have read here that its because the team is very confident going all the way alone and have all the shots post the results for a higher deal value.

As much as I want to believe this is the case, this is a very risky approach and most if not all companies will try to de risk their investors by getting into a deal and spreading the risk around.

Also in my view, big MNC's won't hesitate paying a premium for a drug that has the potential to be the first drug on market in 15 years to improve vision beyond SOC.

Only time will tell what is going to happen but it surely raise some questions.
