not too sure about wind and solar "being totally debunked" and i have reservations about nuclear, but i don't consider myself as an "idiot".
my whole thought process of our future is what will we leave for generations to come, especially considering that it was our and our forbear generations that got us into this climate change mess.
nuclear has a waste issue that will be a major problem wherever it is stored after use, and it will be there for ever!!!
wind and solar on the other hand have an infinite future of reliability of source but has infrastructure futures that would need replacing on ongoing basis.
i don't consider such replacement needs as a major issue.
my thoughts are that wind and solar has to be the go to for future power.
i don't know much about geo, but if it has the capacity to emulate my thoughts on wind and solar futures, then it would suit me!!!
