Besra has really become a salutary lesson in wanting to believe the unbelievable.

The prize is so big that people just don’t want to let it go.

That includes Dato Lim who thought it was going to be easy to mine loads of golds at BAU.
Noblemen Ventures who are on for a $15m pay day and bucket loads of options.
Kenny who is on for loads of options and a fat salary for not doing much besides what Dato tells him to do.
And lastly the investors who believe that Dato and Quantum have the capacity to fund this.

While the price action of the stock suggests cynicism on behalf of the market, the belief will really get tested if we find again that Quantum can’t pay for whatever reason.

While you can argue the bad news is in the price, with the current dysfunctional board structure it can drift much lower.

Let’s hope they can pull a rabbit out of the hat tomorrow.
