Great post Gragou02 - I was roughly aware of the points, but good to read them again. At the end of the day the cash register gives you the answer and the CCX cash registers were not doing enough Ka-ching, Ka-ching. I do think the CCX example will be long used in Merchandising 101 as a great example of what not to do. Comparable outlets in the USA servicing the same customer have done much better than CCX, so it's a company problem not a sector problem. But the problem is two-fold - getting into the shite can and then a failure to make an orderly exit from said can.
