    ASX-listed specialty women’s wear retail City Chic is expected to raise about $25 million from investors and has sold its American brand, Avenue, to a cashed-up offshore buyer as it seeks to re-set the business after a torrid few years.

    Canaccord Genuity is lead manager on the capital raising and started wall-crossing listed equities investors on Tuesday.
