so you are saying the company should outline every single grant or non-dilutive application or thread they explore?

Why would you do that?

By way of example, grants are extremely competitive and there are volumes of worthy causes. Failure to obtain a grant doesn’t mean what is under the application is unworthy, just may not align with the grant giver’s strategy.

Smarter way is to have as many eggs in the incubator as you can possibly get (even the ones that have a very slim chance) but only count chickens that hatch
