Actually Bundy i think you will find the figure you refer to as being for the pilot plant is actually to build the plant at full scale for the whole mine.
Which makes sense. It would certainly be one hell of a massive & gold plated (no pun intended ) pilot plant to come in at over $300M.
The whole point of the pilot plant is to see if the heap leach will achieve the same or greater recoveries than the column tests & at scale.
I remember some figures being quoted some time back of around $25M for the pilot plant. I will try & find that info a bit later when i have time.
