You project too much. I already holds PLS shares. Been looking at LTR.
Just making some observations. I can't change the price of LTR. So relax.
As to the Chinese, they do what they have always done - try to get the lowest price, simply because their customers; that is us, in the West, want the finished product at the lowest price.
You can't be standing on the product end (Western consumer) wanting the lowest price, but expect the producers to pay the highest price. It doesn't work that way.
Existing producers like PLS, will continue to make money, simply because they had already made the investments when Li prices were higher - allowing them to absorb those initial higher costs.
LTR, by its own presentation said, in the initial two years, they will face higher costs.
The question is how much can they afford to lose, before they start making profits?
