I acquired most of my holdings recently. Did WP rescue that investment via events several years ago?

Someone on a $1 mill+ USD per annum may or may not be acting in my best interest. On that sort of dough, he doesn't have to be. I think it's fair to say that he has his own interests at heart, ( if we're lucky - ours as well).

Or I suppose I could subscribe to the rosy view that CEO's who get paid squillions do so because they unfailingly deserve every cent.
I do not at present subscribe to that view, neither generally, nor in this case.

Proof is in the pudding, and I'm not seeing any pudding.
