There's been signs all along, sadly.
Glaring spelling and grammatical errors. Copy & pastes in official announcements. Strange 'unboxing' videos filmed on phones with no words or explanation given (never forget that one). Business partners almost always 'announced' through an obscure, unofficial online journalists. Pumpers with "100 reasons why..." type posts.
All I can say is if you see these signs, avoid.
