The only way the relationship fails if if brainchip decide to look elsewhere for funding. LDA only make money if they are active in the market elling stock.
In essence they sell the stock on brainchips behalf and give brainchip approximately 90% of the funds they receive through the sale of shares.
No sale no profit for LDA and no capital for brainchip.
Brainchip set the minimum price that LDA can sell stock for. This can be reviewed by the company at their leisure. It seems that in this case brainchip decided not to lower the price and to look for an alternative source of funds.
It's as simple as that.
It is not in LDA's interest to refuse to provide funds.
