I'm not sure much money can be made on the regional routes anymore... especially in 30 year old clapped out 34-seat turboprops. My understanding was that the 737 and NJE acquisition was going to be the 'money makers' and ultimately save the airline.
The govt. will almost certainly step in to assist in the short term (beyond the state govt. assisted routes), but if they they keep paying their pilots minimum award wages and not have anything internally to progress onto, assuming the aircraft can still hold up for some time, they'll struggle to find anyone to fly them anyway. Interesting times ahead.
