Rubbish.
What we have here is a spec prospecting company. If you choose to invest in companies like DRE you are helping fund exploration. If they find "the goods" you can make a lot of money, if they don't find commercial quantities of "the goods", then you lose.
Some spec companies can be directors slush funds. It is up to an investor to research both the company in question and the record of the management and the directors.
