    Vsta,

The government will have recieved a statement of claim outlining the allegations against them and the laws applicable.

The facts. Pleadings and particulars. Not the evidence.

They then have time to reply, sending it to the plaintiff and lodging it with the court.

In a normal case, the plaintiff files a reply after the defence.

Last bite of the cherry as often the defence adds allegations against the plaintiff that are not part of the originating statement of claim against them.

That's the end of that part.

Both parties are then understanding what each sides position is.

An admin mention would be the next step for both parties to enlighten the judge.

A timetable might be set. Most likely discovery as that is a legal write of both parties.

    An order is made.

Once both parties have evidence, both parties have identical evidence, it is back and forth so both parties have identical sets.

A directions hearing most likely organised to see progress and set tasks to be done, times, or even the judge directing resolution.

Much can occur at a directions hearing, even parties agreeing to resolve via consent orders.

As this is a judicial review, there would be no interogetories and most likely no expert reports.

Alot depends on both parties hands, if what asset alleges, the government can not defend.

They may have to agree they have done the wrong thing and agree to 45 days.

Consent orders would be done and the end. All private.

But if the judge determines it, much evidence will make it's way into the findings.

Considering many gas permits have been approved and asset energies pep11 appears to be the sole one not.

There are no know environment issues.

It is easy to see a procedural problem.

Maybe biased, maybe just did not want to deal with it.

If no valid reason there done pretty quickly.

I think after the government files there defence and asset replies.

If the governments hand is weak, they make a decision, asset drops the case. And all remains confidential.

Within scope. I'd think diary entries, meetings between king, husic and state counterparts would be fair game.

As would notes, phone logs and investigations.

Alot of crap will be dredge up.

So the original question, bph will not update us.

If we watch the case at the federal court, we will see progress. Not facts and evidence. But if directions hearing are happening etc.
