Underground mining was always the plan for BBM, seams D and J were also economical for open pit mining. The initial scoping report notes strong roof conditions for underground mining, and the J seam is approx 1.2m x 0.3. This sounds relatively low risk.

We haven’t heard much about seam D, is this accessible yet? Will they exhaust J before starting D?

I also note that CKA can retain up to 70% ownership of BBM with the provision of underground mining. Does this mean we will be looking to acquire an additional 10% from our 40% sponge once complete?
