Hi GoSlow, I think the announcement made by Tanzanian government on Bunyu progressing would have been born out of a direct conversation with Volt management team (and potentially any investor/financier). I made a similar comment at the time https://hotcopper.com.au/posts/74496544/single.
I've no doubt there have been discussions/proposals and negotiations take place for developing/financing Bunyu with multiple parties, however unless that turns into a concrete commitment and contract there's nothing to announce. These types of deals tend to get done a lot faster when the commodity in question is in a bull market cycle and there is optimism in capital markets. We have neither right now, so it's essentially a "buyers market"... they can sit back and pick and choose and name their conditions. Eventually markets turn, key is balance sheet strength until then.
