Here's just one of the many documents around this below I've pasted in to acknowledge this and this link here is a 114-page response to all the public submissions around the powerline realignment of which there were 129 with 105 against it which was just all the local activities bothering to do it as for the main mine proposal itself there were submissions in the thousand with a much higher positive response.

The issue here as I see it is that IPC didn't take this all into full consideration in their decision.
