Cancelling the billion dollar project would mean missing out on millions of tax revenue land missed opportunity of creating jobs that would have benefited NSW. Why didn’t the elders complain about fortescue and bhp? They mined on aboriginal land and made billions. Did they get S10 approval for every mine they built? This decision to me sounds political because I got the impression from earlier announcements from Regis that S10 was a given.
