Thanks for posting it @invertedva. I should really stick to my knitting, but i cant resist... Your post links to the current status of the resources at WE. Ive reproduced some bits, to add to your post, which i consider hits the nail on the head. The orange bits below (1U, 2U, 3U), correspond to the red bits (1U, 2U, 3U) in the cross section you posted. These are the ones that will be added to the current resource numbers if the GWC is found to be lower than the 4,650 m SS the numbers are currently based on.
Whilst the red bits may not look that big in the cross section, when considering the volume represented by these, you need to draw a rim around the field...see below....and when you look back up at the histogram (above), 1U, 2U and 3U can be anywhere from 150 to 250 PJs...
Folks should also have a look at the grey bits in the cross section as well (the one screenshotted in your post).
The grey bits have not been factored into any numbers. The current 1U, 2U and 3U does not appear to include any of the grey bits rimming the WE field. They are simply labelled "upside". ... just like the grey bits labelled Eregulla Lead (current ED-1) and West Eregulla Upside.
