Look, to me, this AN1 thing should just fall on its sword once and for all. It is not worthy of public company status. Look at the latest published balance sheet and it says it all. Their liquidity (at that time - June) is in dire straits. The current assets have dropped and the current liabilities have increased and the "acid test" says they are insolvent - even though they took on new debt to cover things.. The intangibles should have been written down to $0. Two months on and things have no doubt got too bad to continue try to hide things under the bed covers....

Mercifully, it looks like the auditors have finally caught onto things and can't ignore it any longer. Big shareholder or not - I can't understand why H&G would undertake to chuck good money after bad.... maybe it was them who pushed up the SP the other day.

I can only wonder what the outcome would have been had Maria & Co just concentrated everything on the Midkine opportunity...instead of venturing into the much vaunted, much more competitor numbered and murky women's beauty space..... After all, that is why we (most of the old group) yes - invested - in CDY at the beginning.

Remember in the old days how everyone got into Soud (& Co) for being negative etc? But he/she has turned out to be right! Yes, those long termers may still be holding their shares (and hoping) - but I can say (sadly, I might add!) with confidence the value of those shares are now worthless - if only thanks to inflation.
