It carries baggage from three companies, and no one has the balls to restructure because I imagine some of the people directly hold the balls of the CEO/MD be it connections, contacts. deals or years of service compensation on termination.
When you get to this position you sell the business.
Imagine a competitor buying an $11M business with 40% GP and slotting it under their own overheads. Various valuation methods $4.36M GP, use 30% GP and that is sales of $14.55M, a potential asset price?
