Too right this lot has a monkey grip on the capital structure: 2 years something like 60% of their ASX announcements were to do with insiders and scrip (typically those insiders getting loaded up with more scrip). It is an understatement to say they are highly motivated to grow the share price.
Of note is that if a bunch of oppies were not exercised last quarter they would have ended the quarter with an overdraft.
However I am with you. I think it too coincidental for them to release impressive results on heart failure on Monday and then call a trading halt today about a cap raise. Could be fundies or could be a strategic. Couple of other medtech tiddlers I follow both have a big bopper sitting quietly in their board rooms, more to ward other strategics away than to take control.
