"That Guy from GPR" is Michael James Giovinazzo. He was sentenced to 4 years imprisonment as a West Australian company director, for cheating investors and stealing company money for gambling.
Today the Supreme Court of Victoria issued a judgement against him. Where Justice Osborne remarked, "I did not form a favourable impression of Mr Giovinazzo’s evidence". This is no surprise about, "That Guy from GPR"
"That Guy from GPR" has had an interwoven relationship with the Board. "That Guy from GPR" will now be removed (and likely subjected to other actions) and the Billis party now have control of GPR.
GPR will now have a lot of queries or RIM. Billis wrote to RIM's Board a long time back and advised them that they were wrong to recognise and deal with "That Guy from GPR". This was all published on the "Make Rimfire Great Again" website. This smells of litigation forming between the two. I'd expect Board changes to be on the horizon.
