I hope so. With headlines this this only last week, I would have thought the Government would be screaming to have such a complex manufacturing industry such as metals manufacturing in Australia.
Our South Korean metals plant is a bleeding mess. One can only assume the sovereign risks of dealing with the South Koreans is too high i.e. why would an EU or US manufacturer share its design secrets with an Australian Company under full supervision of the south Korean Government. Why it is taking ASM this long to even get the planning process for an Australians metals plant is beyond me.
