Yes, exactly. This is exactly the problem with every single mouse trial! You can't run a mouse study and then gush endlessly about "4 billion dollars".
It's why a company will undertake 100 mouse studies, with the expectation that 1 may, hopefully, translate to a safe, useful, functional human medication.
NYR have one mouse study, giving them a 1% chance of success. Give or take a percent or two.
There is no pipeline. There is no Plan B.
