Management had very few options but to go with Shenghe, but where they are most accountable is the excessive capital burn on salaries versus achieved milestones. What do you think that entire team are all working so hard at this morning/?? and yesterday and tomorrow??? Its a Shenghe waiting game and they should have adjusted their salaries to match their workload and achievements. There's always the argument that unless they are paid these exorbitant retaining salaries their unique skill sets will be lost and gone forever, but I tend to think Shenghe has all the expertise and more already and in-house. A good portion of Peaks overweight team seem a bit unnecessary at this point, I mean $27,000,000 burnt since last May????
