Strange that they would go into Halt over that article, but not because they’re clearly having a dispute with Wyloo over their debt. I would have thought Wyloo potentially calling in the debt would be a more material short term issue than NAIF reviewing its funding position, and therefore a more pressing matter to go into Halt over. Seems like a way to get yourself in the naughty corner with ASIC if they’re playing silly.
It doesn’t take a genius to work out the that there is something going on between the two companies - maybe they’re worried shareholders are going to start running for the exits and trying to buy time until they can come up with a response.
