Fund manager sources said the combined entity is seeking to raise about $150 million, with a strategic investor putting up their hand for half of the deal. Sources said the all-stock merger will give the two companies similar representation on the combined company’s register – and bring Tesla and LG as two high-profile offtakers into the fold via Piedmont’s existing relationships.
