Some posters have been suggesting that the board of EQR is a lifestyle board.

I think this is an easy general statement to make and yes there are lifestyle boards around, but this isn't one of them. As a long term shareholder who has been active in understanding the business, the mine(s) and the mineral, I have met most of the management teams over the years.

To give a more complete picture of the current board.

Oliver - chair and executive director of Cronimet - we would not own Mt Carbine or any other mine if it wasn't for Oliver. The Cronimet JV saved EQR from being sold as we needed a partner who could assist a small $10m market cap company and every other deal Russell Krause looked at was bad for us. Oliver is based in Singapore and travels extensively. He was the main player in the Saloro deal (Oaktree) and Masan agreement. He has brought in most of the large Singaporean investors and has been dealing with the offtakers (Elmet). BTW Cronimet used to have a South Korean mine, so they know the Sandong mine quite well. He is not here for lifestyle.

Steven Weir - NED, haven't met Steven, but he is Oaktree's representative. His background speaks for itself. Not here for lifestyle.

Zhui Pei Yeo (ZP) - NED based in Singapore. He has a very successful business in Singapore and is one of the largest shareholders in EQR. He has plenty of other things he could do with his time, but he is committed to the project. Not here for lifestyle.

Stephen Layton - NED based in Melbourne. Stephen has a good track record of investing in small mining companies. He holds 50m+ shares and so is heavily invested in EQR. He has lots of contacts in the finance industry both here and in the UK. He's not doing this for lifestyle.

Richard Morrow - NED based in Melbourne. Richard still working in stockbroking and just finished as chairman of the Melbourne Mining club and on the board of a Resources fund. He has extensive knowledge of the mining industry and the needs of a small miner. He's not doing this for lifestyle. He'd prefer golf!

In short, all of them are committed to EQR given the company is working in different time-zones and on different continents. This requires committing to meetings at all times of the day and night.

If this was a lifestyle company they would still be just working with Mt Carbine. They would have continued to outsources the mining to Goldings and would have taken the easy deals.
